Exorcisms - Can Spirits and Ghosts be Excorcised?

The more effective method to resolve a paranormal conflict is to communicate with the spirit. If it is a residual haunting, you can not reason with it. Spirits are people without their bodies. They were like you and I. They had families and friends, jobs and responsibilities, hopes and fears, goals and failures. They will respond when you show them respect. Become angry and aggressive towards them and they will respond in kind.

In order to remove a spirit, they must be convinced to move on. If they refuse to move on, then they will stay regardless. We have a couple tricks that may work on the stubborn spirits and will be there every step of the way to assist you.

If a malevolent spirit is around, blessings and prayers will not make them leave. They did not respect the Commandments while alive, so why would they in death? Malevolent spirits typically seeks victims with negative energy fields. These people tend to hold in emotions and are filled with bitterness, anger, and hatred. Most times, this energy is strongest in cases of divorce, financial difficulties, domestic problems, work stresses, or any kind of overwhelming stress. A reported phenomenon is sometimes malevolent spirits feed on negative energy from traumatic events in one’s life that is left unresolved. Anything repressed can come back to haunt someone – in more ways than one.

It has been documented that exorcisms or blessings in cases of a malevolent spirit only works temporarily and the activity will begin again – sometimes more severe than the last occasion. Could it be activity diminishes during some portions of the lunar cycle? Possibly. Is a malevolent spirit truly evil? Not as evil as demonic entities in which exocisms are truly meant for and work. One successful method is to talk to the spirit with a firm voice asking that they do not scare you or your children. Sometimes just talking will help resolve the issue. We can also attempt to record what exactly the spirit wants to be known. Sometimes that is all that is needed. We will also set boundaries in attempt to provide safe rooms if the spirit refuses to leave. Like we said earlier we do have a few tricks up our sleeves, but understand no one can guarantee removal as spirits have free will.

The spirit may just have an issue with communication and providing them a forum will solve many problems. Resolving their problems will often set them free.

A malevolent spirit however will not listen to reason, they did not value the wishes of others while they were alive, why would they start now? And think of all the new knowledge they gained on the other side. They take pleasure tormenting others. A malevolent spirit can at times hurt a person, but most of the time it is psychological, and most of the time it is the living person with the negative energy. It does not good to exorcise these spirits. They didn’t respect religion while alive, again why would they change in death?

In cases such as these, the cause must be resolved before the issue is cleared. As mentioned earlier malevolent spirits are attracted to negative energy and stress because of underlying issues. In order to remove a malevolent spirit attracted to this negative energy, that living should consider therapy to relieve the anger, tension, or resentment. Some publicized cases involve people who were molested or mentally abused as a child and they repress those memories.

We are not psychologists or psychiatrists, this is where medical help is needed. The baggage must be removed before this type of activity ceases. Those skeletons in the closet will attract real spirits, malevolent in nature.
