In order to provide the best service possible, any investigator must comply with the following Code of Conduct.  We will not tolerate any deviation of any of these terms by any member. We are extremely strict regarding this Code of Conduct and will immediately dismiss an investigator immediately if any violations occur. 

Manchester Paranormal Investigations Code of Conduct for Investigative Teams

1. You are welcomed guests in someone’s home or business. You must respect their property and their wishes. You will maintain a professional decorum at all times.  
2. You must operate under extreme caution at all times. You are responsible for your own safety. 
3. You must respect the privacy of any person who contacts Manchester Paranormal Investigations. You can not discuss any specifics or personal information with anyone outside of the group without their written consent. You must also stay discreet during an investigation.   
4. You must be respectful to the paranormal entities we are trying to investigate. Some of these entities may be loved ones of the people who are asking for help. You will treat the entities with the same respect that you would like to be given.   
5. You must keep an open mind at all times. You will not judge anyone for what they believe.
6. You will be prompt during an investigation.
7. You will not be impaired by any substance during any portion of the investigation. An investigator must be sharp at all times to capture evidence and to avoid injury or compromise an investigation or evidence. 
8. No one will embellish evidence at any time even under pressure from the client. 
9. No practical jokes (for example: hiding and scaring someone) will be done during an investigation. We must stay professional at all times! Our intent is not to scare anyone or turn it into a joke. 
10. No matter how painful the truth is, we must deliver a fair and accurate report of any claim of activity. 
11. Trust your gut instinct. If a situation does not feel right, use your best judgment.  There is no shame in admitting a situation is more difficult than you can handle.  Conversely if something is too intense, exit professionally and gather your emotions again before proceeding. 
12. You are part of a team, with a structured leadership; check your egos at the door.     

Manchester Paranormal Investigations will not tolerate even one slip-up in any of these conditions.  If at any time, any of these conditions are compromised, the offending investigator(s) will be immediately be removed from the investigation and will not work with Manchester Paranormal Investigators again.
